This Gala tribute, Nureyev and friends, filmed in HD at Le Palais de Congres in May 2013, features dancers from the world'sfinest ballet companies celebraring the 75 th anniversary of this birth. Under the patronage of the Rudoldf Nureyev Foundation, the performance follows the trail of Rudolf's life-Rudolf as a dancer, Rudolf as a choreographer and Rudolf as Artistic Director of the Ballet of the National paris Opera. With performances from award-winning principal dancers Maia Makhateli, Mathieas Heumann, Aurélie Dupont, Tamaro Rojo,and Vadim Muntagirov and with the participation of the Ballet of the National Paris Opera.
